In review of the film (since I don't know if you're referring to the movie, book, theme park, what have you) I would say the first one, The Curse of the Black Pearl, was a classic. Definitely worth seeing. As far as the other 2 (soon to be 3 as I understand it) go, I think they got to big for their britches so to speak. They got too carried away with the comedic aspect of the movies and it became more slap-stick and silly than anything else. Johnny Depp was the absolute making of the first film. He is what made it funny due to his extraordinary acting skills. See the first one and forgo the rest. That's my advice.
