Is rockabilly and greaser the same?

Rockabilly is a music culture, much the same way punk, goth/emo, metal, etc. Greasers were usually young adults born to lower to lower-middle class families and started out as street gangs. Eventually it moved onto rebellious youth. Greasers were interested in fast hot rods, women, and music. Whearas rockabilly is a culture mainly about the music, greasers tend to have more to do with being motorheads.

rockabilly is a style of music , it is a mixture of rock and roll and hillbilly and greaser is what people refered to themselfs as,they listened to rockabilly music, they called themselfs that due to the fact that they used grease to style there hair in the 50s so rockabilly and greaser go hand in hand
