I am not havac tech., but I just had a central ac replaced and they installed it only 13 inches away from the house. I hope this helps you. It was professionally installed. Hi: I would like to add to the above answer a wee bit. There are some basic rules that apply here and the variables of onsite determine how they are applied. #1,,, If you have a heat pump type central system and the eave of your house is in some way or another dripping rain water directly onto it, THEN,,, NU UH,,,,, not good at all. If your unit is however on a gabled end of house under eave then probably not a problem. #2,,, The access panels for service entry are often located on the back side of these outside units and therefore, ready and safe access is a good idea and in general will improve your chances of getting a speedier and more quality repair should it be in need of servicing. Therefore it stands to reason that a few inches of clearance for a service man to do his thing isn't going to help improve his/her/your chore at hand when repairing and servicing. #3,,, There are some side discharge type units with front access panels that can be used in these situations ( but! ) there are fewer of them available on the market now days and the most typical of designs is the fan on top blowing upwards. #4,,, I have seen some cases where people have actually built little leanto roofs and such over the units to help alleviate any problems that have been caused by this close quarters installment. But!!!! lol,,, there is that proverbial But !!!! again,,,,,, This is not recommended by mfg.s of these units for the simple reason it can disrupt the smooth airflow of the design and cause efficiency problems and worst case scenero ( overheat problems ) Overall summary: Not generally a good idea. Hope this helps: Jimiwane

I've been trying to find the same fitting for my 95 unit and may be on to something. On the AC compressor there is a fitting labeled H, which I assume is the High pressure side, which is NOT what you seek. I found an aluminum tubing that comes out of the firewall turns right and the follows the passenger side fender all the way to the radiator. There is a female fitting on that tubing that takes the recharge fitting, so after a little more investigation I hope to try that on my car. I hope that this helps you, and me.
jantar mantar is located in Delhi. it is a beautiful place. one should visit it while visiting Delhi
I should think that the lowest it ever goes in Africa is about 15-17 degrees during the day
Pressure gauges. In a home or car AC there is small pipe and a large pipe going to the compressor unit outside or in the engine compartment. The large pipe should be cold and "sweating" ( dripping water).
Check the capacitor located inside the outside condensing unit, usually the fan, compressor are wired together,if one is running the other should be running
The compressor is located outside of the house in a metal box with coils in the sides and a fan in the middle of it to blow air through the coils. the compressor should be located under one of the side panels of the box.
The 2005 Nissan air conditioning compressor expansion valve is located on the bottom of the compressor. The expansion valve should be labeled as such.
It should say on the compressor and the fan motor labels.
Should be under the air filter box.
That other relay should be the AC compressor relay.
how the f should i know im asking the question too
It should be located "an arms reach" from your condenser.
The A/C compressor should have a fuse/relay located (I believe) in the under-hood fuse box. Remove the fuse box cover, turn it over, and on the interior of the cover there should be an embossed diagram of what fuse/relay belongs to what system.
on the right side near the glove compartment theres a small box HVAC programmer for the compressor disconnect it and connect it again and it should. If the fuse is okay and relay okay compressor okay then do the above instructions
the compressor should be under the hood on the front passenger side, it should be.
The cable compressor should come with an instruction manual which you should read before operating the cable compressor. There are also some instructional videos on YouTube.
