I heard that they wanted to make an eighth season but the cast refused to do it. so they made the season into a comic book, which I've read and is pretty cool. Buffy sets up a teams of slayers all over the world and dawn has some seriously weird problems. Anyway, hope that helps.

A new slayer was not called because when Buffy died The 1st time Kendra was called and then when she died Faith was called so when Buffy died again Faith was still around so a new slayer could not be called until both slayers (Buffy an Faith) are dead.
When does angel from Buffy become good again?
After Angel loses his soul in season 2, Willow is able to perform a spell that restores the original Gypsy curse, putting the soul back into him. Unfortunately, Acathla has already been awakened when this happens and Buffy has to kill him, sending him to hell, in place of the entire world. But from that point on, he is "good again," until season 4 of his spin-off series, "Angel," when he and the gang voluntarily have his soul removed again so that he will remember how defeat an old enemy. It is Willow who once again restores his soul, and he is back to "good" Angel once again.
