What happens in the season 5 finale of NCIS?
This is a very intense season, mainly for Tony and Ziva. Ziva is very mysterious in this season, as she has many secrets. In the beginning there is a mole at NCIS and it turns out to be the newly interned Agent Lee, who was later shot by Gibbs in a pivotal episode. At the beginning of the season we see that there is another man in the room with Ziva when she is talking to Gibbs. Throughout the season we also saw her go back to Israel and saw a picture (twice) of a mysterious man. At the end of the season, her loyalty to NCIS is tested due to her relationship with assassin boyfriend Michael Rivkin. When Tony finds out about her boyfriend he gets suspicious and after a confrontation and fight, kills Rivkin in self-defense. In the end, Ziva, Tony, Vance and Gibbs go to Israel to answer to Mossad for Rivkin's death. In a cliffhanger ending, Gibbs leaves Ziva in Israel after she asks him to choose between she and Tony. In a cliffhanger ending, we see Ziva being tortured and interrogated by Muslim terrorists.
