The size of Pegasus depends on the person who describes him. Several authors describe the winged horse as a great horse, much taller and broader than an average stallion, with a pure white coat, glossy feathers, and flashing hooves of black ivory. Others describe him as a tiny bit bigger than regular horses (not by much) with a rippling mane of gold and pure gold hooves. Still more give a mixture of these descriptions.
