Spielberg's "The Post" (2017) is based on the controversial 1971 Pentagon Papers case, in which The Washington Post newspaper published government documents about the Vietnam War. The film stars Tom Hanks as the late Ben Bradlee -- executive editor of The Washington Post. Meryl Streep plays the late Katharine Graham, who was the newspaper's publisher. Bradlee also was portrayed by Jason Robards in "All the President's Men" -- the 1976 film about The Post's coverage of Watergate..

Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan were very close during the filming of "Mamma Mia" (2008) and it was rumoured they were having an affair. Although this rumour has not been said to be true, there are pictures of them both looking rather intimate. These can either be taken at the wrong time, or it might be true they did have a brief affair. Meryl has been married to sculptor Don Gummer and Pierce to Keeley Smith. I do not think we will ever know if they had an affair and many of the rumours spread about the affair come back to fans who wish they would happen. Youtube videos and photos with the title Peryl Brostreep both influence the rumour and spread it further. Meryl is very much in love and so is Pierce, but it is not with one another.
I have spent countless hours searching leads on the internet only to come up blank. Where did Meryl Streep get her blue reading glasses which she wore in Hope Springs? They appear to be mosiac and not just a plain blue. Can you help? In Style wasn't much help.
For her Oscar-winning performance, she learned to speak Polish, German and English with a Polish accent. Most of her dialogue is in English.
No, Meryl Streep has never been a lesbian (as far as I know). The great actress has, however, played a lesbian twice, to much praise. First in Silkwood (1983), where she played the title character and Cher's lover, and then in The Hours (2002). You can watch scenes on YouTube.
Heartburn made in 1986. Costars Jack Nicholson. I love this movie so much! I'm also a HUGE Meryl Streep fan. Here's a little fun fact for you, the woman who directed this movie, Nora Ephron, also wrote the book, which the movie is based off of. The book and movie are inspired by her own marriage and divorce.

It depends on the size of the pearls, color, and length of the earrings- how many pearls used. She could have spent anywhere from $100 to $1000. Look here for examples: http://www.pearlnecklacesource.com/
