How many swimming pools in India?

India's population is around 1.25 billion.For every 100 people there would be a swimmimg pool.

so total swimmimg pools would be 1.25 billion/100=approx 1 crore.Now the rural population would not be having swimming pool. Rural population comprises about 70% of the total population. 70% of 1 crore=70lakh. 30 lakh swimmimg pools would be there in India.

United states has 10 millions of swimming pool which trnaslates to 1 pool on every 400 person .

Now as far as india is matter we have very few pools as of now . But as economy grow the nos of pools will grow. As of now around 7 crore people pay income tax . And same no of rich are there who dont pay tax.

So approximately 150 millions are rich people in india . So as per standard india needed 3 millions Swimming Pools till 2050. If we take 50% as spa ans and 50% pools . It will be 15 lac pools . At present india hardly had 1 lac pools ans 2 lac of spa or jaccuzi .

Still we needed 50000 pools every year and increasing.
