How many Shrek movies are there?

There are a total of four movies in the Shrek series.

• Shrek (2001)
• Shrek 2 (2004)
• Shrek the Third (2007)
• Shrek Forever After (2010)

There were plans for a fifth film as well, but that idea has been scrapped.

Plus two holiday specials, Shrek the Halls and Scared Shrekless, and a spin-off film, Puss in Boots.
