Sawyer does not die in Lost. In the end of the show, you see Jack in a church with everyone else from the show. Even Sawyer and Kate are there, but they did not die. This is because eventually everyone from the show dies and they are all happy together in a purgatory. So, Sawyer eventually dies and is reinstated with everyone else. After everyone dies, they all move in to heaven or a better place.

∙ 13y agoFirst of all, his name is spelled Sayid. And in Season 6 Episode "The Candidate", Sayid died by sacrificing himself in order to save all his friends on the submarine. Sayid took the bomb full of C-4, and ran and then it was like - boom! The Submarine exploded and every one survived except Sun and Jin. :(

∙ 13y agoHe is running with a bomb and it blew up. That explosion blew hole in the submarine. It also kills Sun and Jin who drown. This is in the second to last or third to last episode.
