Cheyenne, like most Algonquian languages, has no adjectives in the way that English does. Instead verb forms are used; verb forms make up the major part of the language. You have to use a verb that means literally "she is [being] beautiful" or "she is [being] very beautiful".

she is beautiful..................e-ono'aha (or e-peva-tamaahe)

she is very beautiful..........e-mo'ona-tamaahe

it is beautiful......................e-mo'ona'e

nishzhóní-- to be beautiful (a person)

nizhóní -- (a thing)

hózhóní -- a place or area.

hózhǫ́ -- the philosophical state of beauty, order, health, happiness, goodness, balance and harmony.

The marks above make that high tone not stressed or accented. You have to say it to make it right.

The i is said like in "bit"

The zh like in "pleasure"

The mark below the o is a nasalization mark. Say it like o in French "bon"
