If the needle is out you have to replace the needle itself as its an LED light. If its a dashboard light then you have to remove the face plate(two screws on the top of it) and take out the instrument cluster, take it apart and replace the bulb.
Although the needles are engineered to be removed/replaced, you cannot buy a single needle. You must by the entire instrument cluster to fix this.
Probably the "gauge" fuse is blown. The dash lights are a completely separate circuit.
I have a 1995 neon dodge and my dash lights will not come on or my tail lights and every time i change the airbag fuse and turn on the car the airbag fuse blows.
1993 what?
If it's only your speedometer then you pulled a wire loose when installing probably. If it's the whole dash check the fuse also sometimes the ground used on OEM radios are not true ground and connecting the ground from your new stereo to it will kill the dash lights. Try running the new ground to a metal bracket under the dash or right out to the BAT negative. Also bulb burned out coincidentilly at that time? It's happened many times.
Tail light fuse is blown. It also feeds the 5 amp dash light fuse. Also check for shorts causing the fuse to blow including the license plate light.

If there is a warning light on the dash of a IS300 Lexus it signals an issue with the car. The meaning of these lights can be found in the owners manual.
If the digital dash lights up but shows no numbers for the speedometer on a 1989 Thunderbird LX, it is possible that a fuse is blown for the speedometer and the fuel gauge. There is more than one light in the dash for the speedometer.
If the ABS light is flashing it means the system is malfunctioning but still working. The dash light behind the speedometer is burnt out.
If a dash light is flickering on and off, it could be that the light is loose. Check to make sure that the light for the speedometer and the dash are in the holders that keep them from dropping out of the dash.
really crappy light switch is my guess, but you can check the gauge fuse on the drivers side kick panel. The dimmer for the dash lights is pitiful, they may be bad there.
small ones are 24 the large are 194
It's a light that comes on when you have the sports ride feature turned on. In your SC look at the center console. You'll see a switch that turns that sport drive feature on and off. Drive safely :-)
The speedometer is on the dash like any other car....
The dash lights on an Explorer are used to light the warning symbols and to illuminate the speedometer, gas gauge, and RPM gauge. These lights are controlled by fuses.
Easy. Car does not have one. It is an electronic speedometer. It uses a Vehicle Speed Sensor. Better look again partner, it has a cable, unless its a sho or lx with a digital dash !!
yes itll say bulb failure on the dash by the speedometer
