Sometimes they are and sometimes they are not. It can depend on the movie and studio releasing it. Sometimes a screener does not include the CGI effects or has some scenes missing from it. Often times it has a watermark over the film making it annoying to watch.
Evermore will become a movie but I don't know when it will come out on DVD so you will have to wait till the movie comes out

DVDScr: A DVD Screener is a promotional copy of a motion picture sent by a movie studios (on a DVD-Video disc) before the official DVD release date to movie critics, censors etc. The term DVDSCR is used by movie pirates to describe the source material of a bootleg SVCD, DivX, XviD or DVDR copy of a DVD Screener. These copies are usually of high, near-retail quality, but often contain some little extras on the video stream.
A DVD-Scr in an early DVD or BD releases of the theatrical version of a film, typically sent to movie reviewers, Academy members, and executives for review purposes. A screener normally has a message overlaid on its picture. Apart from this, some movie studios release their screeners with a number of scenes of varying duration shown in black-and-white. Aside from this message, and the occasional B&W scenes, screeners are normally of only slightly lower quality than a retail DVD-Rip, due to the smaller investment in DVD mastering for the limited run. Some screener rips with the overlay message get cropped to remove the message and get released misslabled as DVD-Rips.
WEBSCR is a Pirated movie release type. scr means it's a screener, a pre-release version of the movie that has been produced to submit for award consideration or for test audiences. Generally they are quickly produced and may be slightly lower quality then the retail dvd that often releases months after the movie releases, but the screener is often used before the movies theater date. Web refers to the source, which means this screener was streamed over the internet, so may have quality issues related to streaming.
In order to attend a screener, one typically must either have connections, win a special prize, or apply to view a screener. Additionally, people enrolled as survey takers typically get the opportunity to view a screener to review. Members of award panels also gain the ability to review movies to determine which ones will win awards.

No, it is not necessary, but when you do use the screener, you are going to find it will only leave the stocks that are going to give you the profits.
