∙ 7y agoSection 8 housing is regulated under Section 8 of the Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C. § 1437f), within the United States. Therefor, no Section 8 housing is not available in Canada as it is not part of the United States.
However the National Housing Act passed by the Parliament of Canada in 1938 may provide something similar. But it won't be called "Section 8 housing" and it will operate differently.
