And everybody know that sex is a powerful weapon of control, and control/abuse/manipulation are fundamental to a sociopath's existence.

Yes. They marry because they are parasites. They want ultimate control of others and marrying provides them some insurance of that control. They want to sponge off others emotionally, financially...any way they can. They will often tell you that you are their "soul mate" and they will want to move in with you. They talk about marriage very quickly...usually within the first few dates. Sociopaths are not the serial killers we think they are. They look like you and I. But they do great harm to others psychologically, emotionally and often financially (although this is not always their goal). There are many unexplained suicides left in the wake of a sociopath. They literally make other people think they're crazy. It is important that people learn what sociopathy means. We have a growing epidemic in our culture and the estimate, unless it's gone up, is that 1 in 25 people are sociopathic. If you're dating someone who lies, who cheats, who has no regard or empathy for you, it is important to look up sociopathy. Criminal backgrounds, checking for aliases, learning about their past...it's all very important. Sociopaths are very good at deceiving people to think they're upright, decent people. They often volunteer and are "pillars of their community". Underneath the facade they are monsters. If you are in an intimate relationship with one you may have already seen the "mask" crack to reveal the abusive people that they are (usually men). Silent treatment, emotional manipulation, gaslighting are all tools they use. They want you to feel guilty and accountable for what they do and to make you think you have problems if you don't do what they want. They can be very covert in their tactics and it doesn't mean that they aren't abusing you. You need to understand ambient and covert abuse. Abuse is not just physically or verbally hurting another. It is any method used to control, confuse, belittle another person. To strip one of their self-esteem. Do sociopaths marry? Yes. They can't stand to be alone. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

No. Love is an intangible bond between two sentient beings. The second person must be able to recognize, interpret, and reciprocate the feeling, whether the bond is decidedly poetic (love grows and matures out of two people) or chemical (pheromones are ultimately ineffective if only one person recognizes them). One way love is not actually love, but more so devotion or even simply infatuation.

A sociopath is incapable of sympathizing, let alone reciprocating another's emotions. Therefore, a sociopath is no more capable of being in love with a person than he or she loves when his Pizza arrives before the time quoted on the telephone, or when he or she loves that he or she just broke the high score on their favorite video game.

It is hard to comprehent the feeling of love for common people, even harder for a psychopath.

• If we only consider the Biological part of love, then the answer might be:

Love is a Biochemical reaction in the brain, not unlike vomiting, Love is your brain, filtering through masses of people and searching for the best kandidate to procreate after finding a suture, the brain binds you chemically to that person by releasing endorphins everytime you; See, hear and smell say'd person.

With that, the body tries to make you addicted to being near or interacting with that person, which is the fundament to keep you interested in courting the loveinterest.

I don't want to get into the psychological aspect of Love, because it is not my place of expertise and my nowlege is at best rudimentary regarding it.

What I can tell you is:

A Psychopath will be able to understand the Biological aspect of Love, but is not able to (as far as i know) comprehend the feeling, even with explanation, there is no common ground due to lacking emotions and connections that could be made to simmilar strong emotions as love.

How do you explain an emotion that eluded our species for such a long time, that enspired libraries worth of paper and hours and hours worth of material sung, inspired by love, to someone who can not feel the most basic emotions as we do?
