Widespread poverty and unequal distribution of wealth is another long lasting major impact of 17th through the 20th century colonialism. Essentially, colonialism forced the content into (what was then) modern agriculture and industrial capitalism. African nation were forced to mine diamonds and metals, and produce mono-crops which would be sold overseas. The Europeans made the blacks do the hard work for them and then sell their workings to get what they needed and wanted.

yes the distribution of cultivated land is unequal in palampur. it is so because in palampur many farmers are rich (about 60 families) which have plenty of land with them whereas there are some farmers who cannot afford large tracts of land due to economic difficulties. it is the same situation in India for the same reasons given above
