Yes Jill Valentine is still alive within the Resident Evil film series. In the novelization of Resident Evil: Extinction it is explained that Jill eventually leads her own group of survivors after proving to be a great asset. In Resident Evil: Afterlife the current movie, Jill is in the final scene, shown to be bad because she is being controlled by Wesker, like in the Resident Evil 5 game.

Jill's role in the movie is unknown at the moment, but it seems like she is dressed in her Battle Suit from the games and will be in command of Umbrella soldiers. Producer Jeremy Bolt said that he would like Jill to remain a secret for the time being.
