No, you can't. I had an experience that I bought liquor from Long Drug store. I wanted to return because I bought the wrong one. The cashier won't let me return, they said it's the law in CA.
The above person is sadly mistaken, according to the California ABC Sec. 25600(a) "authorizes the return (for refund or exchange) of Alcoholic Beverages to the seller by dissatisfied consumers."
