If a Jedi has a family, then they become attached to them. And Jedi are not supposed to have personal attachments. Use Anakin Skywalker as an example: he couldn't let go of his attachments for Padme and that led him to the Dark Side.

In the Clone Wars era, Jedi were not allowed to marry, with the exception of Ki Adi Mundi who had to take on several wives in order to keep the population of his planet at a neutral level. In the New Republic era, the rules were changed and Jedi were able to get married. One example of two Jedi getting married is Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade.

during the Jedi Order of the late Old Republic (EP 1 2 3) marriage was largely frowned upon HOWEVER NOT FORBIDDEN. Following ep 6 Luke Skywalker's Jedi Order encouraged marriage between Jedi as it increased the likelihood of strong Jedi. During the early old republic marriage was also encouraged

The Jedi are not supposed to marry because they avoid attachments. They do this because it is easy to turn to the dark side when you are trying to prevent the loss of a loved one. Anakin fell to the dark side in this exact same manner.

No. Supposedly no. But there was one who was married, and because of that, sad events take place. His name was Anakin.
