First of all, the engine needs to be cooled off to eliminate risk of heat stressed bolts causing damaged when removed. Then dismantle the engine block until the head can be taken off. Without adequate tools it will not be possible to make a proper adjustment. With the right tools, set the valve clearance to 0.11-0.19mm on the intake side and 0.06-0.14mm on the exhaust side.
