If I'm correct, its 350+ ft. behind the aircraft because of the hot exhausts that come out of the turbine engine/engines.
The engines CAN overheat but the engines by there nature will get extremely hot and that is normal.

i think it is not possible... because only through hot side the power of the gas will high that it can rotate the turbine... so generator can be connected only in hot side...
