Yes Dominoes went to the Pacific and European War fronts if the soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines could sneak them into the battle front but the definitely were in the rear (the area where the war is not being fought or in the areas that are supply places and sea vessels).

Dominoes have been around since 1350 A.D. Domino games have been played by kings and presidents and the oldest known domino set was discovered in Tutankhamen's tomb. Tutankhamen was king of ancient Egypt in the 18th dynasty, 1355 BC. Anyone for a game with King Tut?
