∙ 13y agoYou wait until he makes change? No seriously, kids swallow coins every day, and usually pass them with no trouble. However I recommend you call your child's pediatrician and ask for their advice, just to be safe.
My friend just swallowed a coin and she rung her mum, she knows a lot of medical facts, she said it should be fine, although my friend keeps burping for some peculiar reason, i don't think it has anything to do with it, she is just trying to get it out.

∙ 11y agoTake them to the doctor. The doctor will evaluate the risk and if it is a problem. Chances are that unless it has sharp corners that they will allow it to 'run its course' and come out naturally.
