Who was the first daughter mentioned in the Bible?

Sarai or Sarah was the first woman mentioned by name as the daughter of Terah He was also Abram or Abraham's father. They had different mothers.

In ancient times, people married their brother's, sister's or other relatives. After a time, birth defects started showing up. That is why God gave them the Mosaic law or what many people call the Ten Commandments. Here is one:

Leviticus 18:8-10: "The nakedness of your father's wife you must not lay bare. It is your father's nakedness. As for the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father or the daughter of your mother, whether born in the same household or born outside it, you must not lay bare their nakedness. As for the nakedness of the daughter of your son or the daughter of your daughter, you must not lay bare their nakedness, because they are your nakedness."

These laws would not have been necessary if the Israelites and the peoples around them weren't intermarrying.
