mathematics, just like all of the sciences is the human way of making sense of the world around us. we, as a species, feel the need to categorize and explain everything. math exists in nature, because we invented math to explain the wonder that is nature.
it is a mathematics source and is hard to explain
Mathematics is the language of physics, and all the sciences are branches of physics. So if we are to explain, describe, or understand anything in our universe, we must use mathematics in one form or another to come to that understanding.
This is a quote from Gauss, a famous mathematician. Mathematics is generally considered the "purest" of the sciences in that it relies entirely on rational though and deduction and is therefore clean of any "impurities" introduced through error in experimentation, instrumentation, etc.
pythagoras
He became a mathematician by studying math. He believed that numbers and math held the secrets of the universe. He tried to explain everything he observed with some kind of mathematical formula.
The simplest explanation is this: physics is the use of mathematics to help explain everything around us beginning with the laws of nature

Garrett Lisi tried to use math to explain everything. Also on Star Trek, (its been awhile) the hologram doctor was famous on one planet that uses math to explain everything, I.E. Asking everyone about what their favorite equation was.Sorry, a bit rusty on my Star Trek.
Only loony Ancient Greek mathematician (although, there were many loony Ancient Greeks) who loved his maths so much he practically - no wait, he actually did - form a religion around it was Pythagoras and he is 6th to very early 5th century, so I'm assuming I'd be right in saying him? Hope that helped.

The formula of everything is a complex and ongoing scientific quest to understand the fundamental laws and principles that govern the universe. It involves theories such as the laws of physics, mathematics, and other scientific disciplines to explain the behavior and interactions of all matter and energy in the universe.
