Other answers from our community: The death of Peter is not recorded. Even the author of Acts of the Apostles did not know how or when he died, although Acts is widely regarded as written around the end of the first century.
Peter's death is not mentioned in The Bible. However, tradition tells us that he was crucified upside down during the reign of the Roman emperor Nero about the year 64 AD.
It isn't. The simple reason for this is that the gospels, the Book of Acts, and the letters of Paul and Peter were written before his death.
Peter was almost certainly crucified in Rome around AD 60 as tradition has it, and several contemporary citations confirm, that he was crucified under the persecution of christians that happened about that time. Paul was also executed (by beheading as Paul was a Roman citizen and allowed this 'luxury') around the same time and the two bodies transferred to the San Sebastian Catacombs in Rome (as the history of the placeand grafitti on the walls there confirm) before their remains were reburied in St Paul's Basilica on the south of Rome, and St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
Most Bible scholars believe that Paul's letters were written around 50-60AD or thereabouts, with the gospels, apart from John's, dating after this time, with Mark's being the earliest. Peter's letters also date from this time. It is believed that the last letter of Paul, the 2nd letter to Timothy, is believed to have been written around AD 60, just before his execution. Therefore, as the Biblical writings pre-dated both executions, no record of Peter's nor Paul's death are written in scripture.

Saint Peter's death is not documented in the Bible. Tradition holds that he was crucified in Rome, but there is no real evidence that he ever went to Rome.
That account is not found anywhere in the bible. It is found in the apocrphal writings. These are writings that were not accepted into the biblical canon. I am not certain, but I think the account of Peter's death is in a document called the Gospel of Peter.
The first recorded death in history was Abel, son of Adam & Eve, who was killed by his brother Cain as stated in the Bible (see Genesis 3:8)
I believe that there is only one Peter in the Bible, the Apostle Peter.
In the Bible both Peter and Andrew were real brothers.
