Before Jesus was born, God made it so that no one could live to be older than 120 years old.

Let's look at this scientifically. During that time there was not a lot of medicines or surgeries, women died during childbirth frequently and there wasn't any real cures for diseases. However there was herbal medicines, most things could not be cured. Taking in to account technology, people of that time probably lived to be around 25-30.

Answer:

More likely people lived to be just as old as today and every era. The one exception being the middle ages when living conditions where horrid due to the abuse of government and wars. But that was thousands of years after Christ.

If anything would lower the average age it would be Christians being thrown to lions (capitol punishment) and the many wars of Rome.
