An apostle is like any of us. If you are a believer in Christ, you are an Apostle. An apostle is to go and make disciples of all nations. You will sin like anyone else
This is not doctrinally true. The truth is everyone that is a believer is commisisoneed which is the grk word apostole meaning to be sent, in other words every believer is to go and make disciples, acoording to the great commission of Jesus recroded in the book of
Matthew 28:19-20. There is a very distinct difference in the greek words that contain the root word apo, meaning sent. The office of apostle is the greek word apostolos meaning a sent messenger specially commissioned with orders , delegated with Power, and legislative, executive, and judicial authority of the Sender (Christ Himself).
This is very important that believers find their gifts and callings because all are not called to be Apostles but all are called to be Disciples( students or learners of a teacher) of Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:28-29-And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 [Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all workers of miracles?
2Timothy 2:15-Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The apostle John.
A disciple, there was no apostle by that name.
OpinionI would say Apostle Paul wherever I use 'Apostle' as a title, in the same way as I would say Mr Smith, with 'Mr' capitalised. Less frequently, I would write 'apostle' uncapitalised if I did not intend it as a title, for example where 'apostle' is the subject of the sentence, and Paul is addressed. Use capitals to be on the safe side.
Paul, formerly Saul of Tarsus, is known as the 13th Apostle.
If Matthew the disciple/apostle had a wife we are not told about it in the Bible.
