Vacation Bible School. It refers to the fact that you are out of regular school, on your vacation.

the person who answered above is an idiot Vacation Bible School is not what is explained above...Vacation Bible School is something that churches do for the kids in the church...in fact just last week my AWESOME church First Baptist Church had Vacation Bible School Monday-Friday...at Vacation Bible School we sing songs like ''One True God'', ''The Lords Plans'', ''Children Of God'' and many, many more...we also do crafts, have a snack, learn about God, but, we didn't go entirely about God, we learned about Joseph and how his brothers threw him in a well..and all of that stuff...Vacation Bible School is something churches do for the kids..not what you explained...Get it right or don't even answer especially for stuff about the lord
The above response is not a very good example of a true Christian, but let's leave that for now. A good Christian would not carelessly call someone else an "idiot". Actually, the first response is perfectly correct, as "Vacation Bible School" originally came about in the summer time when kids were out of 'regular', or state-run, school. Church leaders figured they had as much right as the state to brainwash young minds, so they started up schools in the churches (mostly fundamental Christian, but not all-there are summer schools in Jewish temple as well).

I capitalize it. Bible is usually capitalized anyway.
The Bible is allowed in public school in the United States when pupils bring it for personal use. The Bible cannot be used by a teacher or other school official under rulings stating there must be a separation between church and state.
No. The ancient Greeks had organized schooling hundreds of years before the Bible was written.
Comparison:(school being fun) School is a never-ending vacation to the sunny, warm beach.(school being boring) School is a screaming baby constantly yelling in your ear
I think there is only one consideration, and that is about you. I spent time at Capernwray Bible School (www.capernwray.ca, www.capernwray.co.uk), and I can tell you from my experience. Make sure that Bible School is what you want, not what your parents or what your best friend wants. Find out about the Bible School you want to attend, check out their Web site. Whatever you feel is most urgent to know about, look for answers to those issues in the site. Then sit back and allow God to speak to you. I think you will find the answer that way.
