In the King James version

the phrase - seek God - appears 5 times

  1. 2 Chr 19:3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.
  2. 2 Chr 30:19 That prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.
  3. Psa 14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
  4. Psa 53:2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
  5. Psa 69:32 The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

NOTE

it must be borne in mind that

A) the words "seek God" may appear with other words intervening...

  • Deu 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

B) other words imply the same thing...

  • 2 Chr 20:3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
