We were a Band from Bakersfield, CA in the very early 1960's
Most of our band members are alive and well with the exceptions of our sax player, Bobby Holley, who was killed in the Vietnam War and Sylvester Lyons, our bass player who passed away in September 2009.
Bill, our business manager lives in Southern California. Al Anthony, our personal manager lives in Knoxville, Tennessee. Ralph - our sax player still lives in Bakersfield. Henry - keyboards lives in the San Fernando Valley in California. Leroy (Bobby's older brother) - sax lives in Riverside California. Harold (aka Wayne) - drums lives in Oklahoma. Rick - guitar lives in Northern California. Dennis - guitar lives in (Sin City) Las Vegas.
We toured over many different states, Appeared on Dick Clark's American Bandstand from Philadelphia (WFIL) and the Buddy Deane show in Baltimore as The Frogmen (Underwater, Beware Below, etc.) for Candix Records in April 1961. Many of our members are still involved in music! We're planning a reunion on the weekend of Nov. 7 & 8, 2009 in Bakersfield of course.
