He was the first person to uncover a tomb in the Valley of the Kings, and this lead to many other discoveries of tombs.

The tomb was also untouched from tomb robbers and this helps us gain an insight as to what the Ancient Egyptian life was like for a teenaged Pharaoh, or any Pharaoh in fact.

Howard Carter was born in May 9,1874 - Marche 2,1939. He is an archelogist and egyptologist. He discovered King Tut's (Tutankhamun) Tomb. Howard Carter's team was about to give up looking for the tomb because they didn't have alot of money. They had looked for the tomb in the Valley of the Kings but it wasn't there. But, they had one chance to find the tomb. And he did! After he found the tomb, Howard Carter died in Kensington, London.

Some say, there looking for King Tut's father. (I read it in a book!)
