A river always flows from the highest to lowest elevation, and so Lower Egypt is in the North and Upper Egypt is in the South. It seems backwards, but it does make sense because Lower Egypt has lower elevation than Upper Egypt so the delta empties there. It obviously makes more sense that a river flows downhill instead of uphill.
The Triangle which is an area of fertile farmland in Lower Egypt is called the Nile Delta.
the delta of the nile but not the valley of the kings
"Upper Egypt" is the area of Egypt closest to the Nile's source. "Lower Egypt" is the area of delta where the river flows into the sea. Upper Egypt is South, lower is North.
Upper Egypt was the Southern portion, on the banks of the Nile. Lower Egypt was the Northern part, being in and around the Nile delta.
lower egypt since its above the delta and lower egypt is the north part of egypt since the nile flows backwards
Lower Egypt is the top part of Egypt. It is called Lower Egypt because it is lower in the Nile, coming up from the south. The Nile delta is in Lower Egypt and runs out to the sea from there.

The Nile Delta. It is the delta formed in Northern Egypt (Lower Egypt) where the Nile River spreads out and drains into the Mediterranean Sea and it is one of the world's largest river deltas.
Yes. The majority of the land area of Lower Egypt was the Nile Delta, but control extended a little further upstream as well.
