That is all a load of garbage. You should research your breeds better before you post your ignorant ramblings instead of paraphrasing the one book you read. The bite force of the akita is 400 psi. The bite force of the American bull dog is 302-308 psi. Not to mention the bull dog doesn't get nearly as large as the akita. Nowhere does it say the akita KILLS bears, it says HUNTS bears. And your little bully can't beat an akita, what makes you believe it can kill a bear? They fight stupid...probably like their owners. The akita would destroy your little hyped up, sissy of a dog. Maybe next time write your comment in crayon so we all know the mentality of who's posting it.

American bulldogs are used to hunt wild boar and bears. The American Akita's history shows it was bread for both hunting elk, antelope, boar, and the 120 stone Yezo Brown Bear due to its ability to hold off such beasts. It is also known for its un-waivering fear and loyalty. Second it was bred in for the Odate dog fighting ring in the early 20th century where the larger build and thicker bone structure developed. the Akita also does not care much for other dogs and has been known to atack if threatened. Its a hands down win for the Akita based on temperament, size, and breeding.

american bulldog wins because its mouth jaws and muscle are stronger and they

hunt bears and deer and wild boar/razorbacks. while akitas hunt deer Asian black bear and wild boar and antelope. but american bulldogs mouths are wider so when they bite they fit a larger portion than Akitas everyone makes Akita out to be stronggg but its not as strong as people dramatize but the ones that are. are tosa inus and shar pei and Japanese Akita but american akitas are baloney the american versions mouth is soft while american bulldogs mouth and jaw are strong and the bulldogs could weigh just as much but with all muscle and they will most likely whoop a dog like that if it randomly bites an american bulldog american akitas are strong but not that strong. my dog when it was 3 months hes a pit. got bit on the neck by a 1 year old Akita i pryed the jaws and looked at my dogs neck and there was no blood so they don't bite super hard but they can but not like other bully breeds like a pit, mastiff. or others like this one the american bulldog also akitas bringing down attacking or killing bears is a myth! they didn't do any of that i read a book called/ the truth/akitas and it said all it did was. 2 akitas or 4. would just corner the bear while the bear is distracted.hunting men were hiding close by and they made the kill. see all these dogs did was corner not attack just distract the bear while near by hunters who sent the dogs. would ready their weapons and go in for the kill. that Akita killing bears thing is a myth all they did basically was distract and corner the bear Akita did not kill or even bring down bears just distract them look up are akitas more aggressive than other dogs and the question is by KENSHO if you don't want to read it scroll down all the way to where it says myth#1 myth#2 it will even state this hope this was a good legitimate answer.
