Ernest Lee was only one of the Best Basketball players to come out of Sacramento period during the 80's along with Kevin Johnson of the NBA Suns. Ernest starred at John F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento California and was named Sacramento Bee player of the Year week you name it Ernest could do it all. He also led the nation in scoring during his time with Clark-Atlanta before having tryouts with the Atlanta Hawks among other teams. To this day he is seen as one of the Best ever to play the game and those words were echoed by Kevin Johnson himself. Unfortunately, he committed suicide during the 90's believed to have jumped from the Tower Bridge in Sacramento.

He was very hard to guard,I played at Savannah State and we had to play them and all I can remember is that this guy scored 12pts in a minute. He would lean into you so you would foul him or give him the basket. That was my Freshman and sophomore year but I would have loved to play against him after I gained some experience, but he was the toughest guy I face. Our coach was going crazy.
