Yogi Berra played in more World Series than any other player. He is one of only two men who Managed both the Yankees and the Mets - and the other being Charles Dillon ( Casey) Stengel. In retrospect, Stengel was partly responsible for big-ticket money-oriented ( Politics) that have done serious damage to Baseball. see ( magnificent Yankees) by I Believe Tom Meany. the last chapter on Joe Pepitone ( Nathan"s Hotdog) is also instructive on the ( Big money) craze.
