Atlantis is mythological and its location is uncertain. It may have been supposed to exist in the Mediterranean Sea, or perhaps in the Atlantic Ocean (which takes its name from Atlantis). A lot of places thought to have been Atlantis could just have been Atlantean colonies. Some people say that it existed off the east coast of South America.

Atlantis is a extinct city to my belief. It is belived to have been the island of Crete. If you look back in history it says the island of Crete was destroyed by a psunami. In the old book about Atlantis it says that the Greek water god Posidon was angered and destroyed Atlantis.
