In medieval Europe, the largest Muslim community was in Spain, especially in the South. Medieval Spain had Christian countries and Muslim countries, but the people of those countries were mixes of Christians, Muslims, and Jews. The time of Muslim government in at least parts of Spain was 711 AD to 1492. Muslims based in Spain invaded France, but were defeated and withdrew.
Sicily was an Arab emirate from 965 to 1072, after which it was captured by Normans and became a Christian Norman kingdom. Parts of Italy were also held by Muslims briefly during the time of the Emirate of Sicily.
Muslims were in conflict with the Byzantine Empire during most of the Middle Ages. They occupied large parts of the Balkans by the time the Middle Ages ended, and there are numbers of them still there.

I would not liked to have lived in Medieval Europe because with the Black Death going around I probably would have died.
In medieval Spain, after the Muslim invasion and conquest, which began in 711, Christians, from the North, fought against Muslims, from the South.
fat people NO unlike now and then people in the medieval times in Europe had less advantages. such as trains, computers, and good hygiene with modern day medicines. The age limit back then was around in the twenties to die. Now all people live a bit longer. But if there wasn't a Medieval times then there wouldn't be great sites to see in Europe.
