Tecumseh is a Shawnee chief, and his role was, "whites have taken upon themselves to say this and belongs to the Miamis, this to the Delawares and so on. But the Great Spirit intended Native American land to be the common property of all the tribes, and it cannot be sold without the consent of all."
Tecumseh's role was to be the Chief of the Shawnee nation, which helped fight against the US and fight alongside Britain. Tecumseh's partner was Isaac Brock a general, they both fought on the same side until Isaac died in October 181, early in the Battle of Queenston Heights. Tecumseh was an important part of the Britain/Canadian team in the war of 1812, without him people aren't sure whether Canada/Britain would have done as well as they did.
