The Comet Baseball bat company was a one man operation located in Homer New York. The work was done in the man's home, and barn. I have come across a few Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio bats
made under the Comet Bat label on eBay. They sell for about $40.-$60. in good condition. Bats in excellent condition or better might sell in the $50.-$100. price range.

Without a player endorsement, the value will rely on vintage baseball bat features such as a decal, or special features such as a mushroom knob, a ring bat, ornate engraving, etc. Without a player endorsement the Comet bat might sell in the $25. price range in excellent condition.
