Nobody can say for sure but I think that France would never had a revolution had the American War of Independence been lost (Or won, depending on who's point of view you are looking from) (I hearby open the floor to any more random speculation, most of which I am sure will concentrate on the British Empire's subsequent focus on Asia and Africa and eventual collapse or the inevitability of revolution)
