What happened to Martin Luther King Jr.'s mother?

Martin Luther King's mother was shot to death while attending church. I am a college student at Martin University in Indianapolis ,IN. One of my professors is Martin Luther King Jr's nephew. He was present when his grandmother was shot and killed, he told us that she was actually playing the piano during services when this atrocious act was committed. She was murdered by a racist militant group out of Ohio. She was not murdered by a racist militant group. The individual responsible for it said that he was ordered by his "master" to kill the entire King family.

The killer was in fact a young black man that said "his God had told him that black ministers were hurting black people and he should kill them." He pulled two guns and started firing at random shortly after being welcomed to the church service.

Less than 24 hours after the incident her husband went to the jail and spoke with the perpetrator, he asked him why he did it, he gave the above response. To this the great man told him " I will pray for you and I forgive you". Obviously this is an entire family of wise compassionate Christians.
