Bedouins eat a wide variety of foods. They make much use of dates which can be found in the desert and of milks and cheeses which they can acquire from their livestock. They also eat meats like lamb and chicken on more festive occasions. Most dishes are served over rice with herbs and spices added for flavor.
Bedouins not only eat the animals they herd which are camels, sheep and goats, they also eat cheese, yogurt and milk from the animals. They also eat flat bread, dates, olives, chick peas, rice, couscous and wild desert game, berries and herbs that they make into compotes and jams.

Arab cuisine spans many countries and is quite diverse. However, most foods in the Arabic world have a strong emphasis on meat, typically lamb and chicken, dairy products, such as yoghurt and cream, herbs and spices, especially mint and thyme, coffee and tea, and grains, as rice is a staple. These are typically garnished with legumes, fruits and vegetables, and nuts.

The popular stuff is flat bread (fatir), a spice blend called hawayij, dip for dates (Whatever that is) called Haysa Al-tumreya, fava beans, wheat, rice, yogurt, and chicken. Those are the main things. The DON'T eat pork or drink alcohol b/c it's strictly against their religion. The drink camel, goat, or sheep milk for diets. They also make a drink called lassi out of the yogurt. For holidays they eat soups, stuffed vegetables, bean salads, tabbouleh (A salad made with wheat), hummus, rice, flatbread, dates, raisins, and nuts are the appetizers or snacks, and dessert is last. The weird thing is, they sit cross-legged on the floor around rugs and their plates in their laps and eat that way!
