The great scholar Lou Monte records that Washington was cold, hungry, and had no change of undergarments at the time when he crossed the Delaware river. Washington apparently had also been planning on courting the support of Italy at the time, and this is what he supposed said as he crossed: "Mme faccia 'nu fridd', e tengo 'na famm',
Mme faccia 'nu fridd', no tengo mo dann'.

I would say that Thomas Jefferson was a lot like George Washington in many ways.

This is based on opinion, but I would say he was like George Washington.
He didn't invent the office. The convention did as it wrote the constitution. In fact Washington didn't say a word the entire convention.
did George Washington say "march to the relief of Boston"
While it would be fun to say that is was to get to the other side, the truth is that he wanted to attack Trenton, New Jersey. He crossed it on 24 December and attacked on 25 December 1776 taking the Hessians by surprise. The Hessians surrendered, making the battle at Trenton the first American victory in the Revolutionary War.
I do not believe Washington ever met with King George III.
"SCREW THIS CRAP AMERICA SUCKS" ( George Washington )
