He was very peaceful but he advocated a separation between whites and blacks. He urged blacks to start their own organizations and reject regular white based culture. He was also a freedom rider. Remember, the SNCC originally sought to desegregate and make blacks and whites equal and create an equal society. However, after all that stuff about Black Power riling everyone up, Carmichael, leader of SNCC, thought that African Americans should control the struggle themselves. Now he made the SNCC focus more on doing things for black people, to identify themselves as black people, instead of trying to make blacks and white equal and accepting assimilation. I guess that's how he changed civil rights organization. I suppose he was pretty influential so he was able to get a lot of people into getting Black Power pride.

How did British power change over time?

British power evolved significantly from the late 16th century through the 20th century due to factors such as colonial expansion, industrialization, and shifting geopolitical dynamics. The establishment of a vast empire made Britain a global superpower, but post-World War II, decolonization and the rise of the United States and the Soviet Union diminished its influence. Economic challenges and social changes further reshaped its role on the world stage, leading to a focus on diplomacy and membership in international organizations like the United Nations and NATO. Ultimately, Britain's power transitioned from imperial dominance to a more collaborative, albeit reduced, global presence.
