The duties of a Knight included managing the parcel of land designated by the various fiefdoms as vassals, providing armsmen and military support to the ruling regent (the king) in times of war, defending the Christian faith, and killing pretty much anyone who crossed them (in the name of honor). And you can probably find lots more there, than online.
