Korea was the FIRST war for Great Britain's famous CENTURION medium tank; which was deployed by British forces in Korea. The CENTURION would later fight it's last war for the crown, with the Australian Army in Vietnam; from then on the Centurion would only serve under foreign nations which purchased it. 7. Korea was the last war in which a vast majority of WW2 aircraft and warships would play an important role. Nearly all would be replaced by the 1960's. 8. Korea and WW1 are the only wars settled by an Armistice during the 20th century.
