You could but it would be very risky. I have seen games where both quarterbacks were injured and the team had to use a running back to finish the game (Washington/Philadelphia, 1990 ... the 'body bag' game). I can't say that I know every player on every NFL roster but I can't imagine there is a team that carries less than three quarterbacks on their 53 man roster.

6. 3 per team.
Yes, but only quarterbacks and one select team leader on the defense can have one.
Jim Plunkett was the starting QB for Stanford when they won the Rose Bowl in 1970 and won two Super Bowls as starting QB with the Raiders in 1981 and 1984. Tom Brady was a backup QB for Michigan in 1998 when they won the Rose Bowl and won three Super Bowls as a starter with the Patriots. Brian Griese was the starting quarterback for the Michigan team that won the Rose Bowl and a backup on the Denver Broncos team that won the Super Bowl in 1999. There may be more but that's all I can think of.
Well usually the kicker/punter, or people who have played quarterback in highschool, college, ect.
Click on the 'Super Bowl Starting QBs' link on this page to see the quarterbacks who started for their team in the Super Bowl.
yes, there is no rule against an NFL team having 2 quarterbacks on the field at the same time the only restriction regarding quarterbacks is that the 3rd quarterback cannot play in the game at all unless both of the other 2 quarterbacks are injured and unable to play further in the game
The starting quarterback was senior Robert Brewer.
4 quarterbacks.

Of course they can. A team in any game must continue playing even if every quarterback is injured. Many teams don't even dress a third quarterback in games. For example I know the Denver Broncos didn't even bring a third quarterback to the super bowls they played in the late 90's. If both quarterbacks got injured in the game wide receiver Rod Smith would have come in at the quarterback position.
There are 3 quarterbacks
There can only be 3 active quarterbacks on an NFL team for each game!!! However the third quaterbacl - cannot play unless the other two are injured during the game. USUALLY - a team will have 2 active quarterbacks for every game - but if either are hurting - they will have a third quarterback - brought up from the practice squad. If they need more - their problem IS NOT the quarterback - it is the offensive line.
3 There is no requirement regarding the number of quarterbacks on a college football roster.
