I think Bubonic Plague was part of the black death and people thought the following things would cure it:

Putting a frog on the buboe to suck out the poison

Cutting a pigeon in half and rubbing it on the buboes

They thought that doing weird things like wearing pointed shoes could cause the bubonic plague.

doctors thought that rose oil and some flower with honey would be put onto the cut because honey is known for helping to disinfect stuff because of its natural sugar and the flower would help it with pain and rose oil will make it smell better because when it touches the patient it could make a reaction.
