There is not an exact answer to that question, as it is a debated topic. In my opinion, carriers proved to be decisive as they allowed one to transfer air support to places that were out of reach to planes being launched from land. However, the Nazis developed some pretty crazy things, some of which (namely the V2 missile and the ME 262 jet fighter) were not decisive as they came to late in the war to make much of a difference, but were quantum leaps in warfare and have been decisive to later wars.

The axis used thousands of different weapons. The most common were possibly the KAR 43 rifle, the KAR 98 rifle, the MG 42 light machine gun, and many others.
